My husband and I stayed at my folks house so I did not have access to my scale.

I did make me a pot of decaf coffee and enjoyed my two cups with cream.

My sister was getting married so we got ready to attend her civil wedding ceremony. We traveled the hour to the courthouse and found a place to park. My sister was a beautiful bride and I absolutely loved her hair, makeup, necklace, earrings, dress, and shoes. In other words, everything she had on! After the ceremony she invited all of her guests to enjoy a luncheon at her favorite Chinese restaurant.

The food included hot and sour soup, wonton soup, fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour pork, happy family, beef and broccoli, and pot stickers. I added some wonton soup broth and the vegetables to my soup cup and fixed my plate with the beef and broccoli, happy family, pot stickers, and sweet and sour pork. I'm sure there was wheat in everything I ate so I am happy I avoid it because I want to, not because I have to.

After lunch we returned to my folks house. After doing everything that we needed to do, my husband and I got in the car to return home. On our way, we stopped to get gas and instead of dinner my husband and I had ice cream. My favorite ice cream can be found at Cold Stone Creamery so that is where we went. I ordered the dark chocolate with almonds and even though I am supposed to include protein and vegetables with all of my meals, I enjoyed every single bite.

About me

I'm Teri and I am 54 years old. I have been fighting my weight since I was fourteen, dieting my way all the way up to 236 lbs. I started my weight loss program on March 3, 2008, and at that time I was unable to get into the largest pair of jeans I owned, size 18W. I have lost close to 100 pounds, and I now wear a size 4 jeans. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I could have ever imagined and I did it without starving or depriving myself in any way.

I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day.

Here's a link to my Progress Photos.
