Oh, yay!

You did it! You broke into the 130s! I've been longing for a Teri-fix and checking the website for an update a ridiculous number of times! I knew you must have been out of town or something.

Congratulations on eating great food and getting closer to your health goals all the time.

130's are here!

I weighed in at 139-3/4 lbs., both yesterday and today, actually seeing the next set of 10's two days in a row.

Sorry for the delay in updating my site but I spent the week hanging out with my mom. During my stay, my son joined us on an overnight trip to Monterey so we could visit his sister and brother-in-law and check out Cannery Row. Our trip was nice and since I am on autopilot when it comes to this way of eating, my food choices were on plan with me ordering what I wanted to eat.

When I returned home yesterday, I had two bathing suits waiting for me that I had ordered. I only had the energy to try on one of them and when I showed it to my husband, he said he could tell that I had lost weight in the short time I was gone.

When I was a young adult, I wanted to change three things about myself. My first conquest was to quit biting my fingernails and I accomplished that right away. My second conquest was to quit smoking and I finally accomplished it when I got pregnant with my 26 year old daughter. My third conquest was to lose weight, and even though I lost hundreds of pounds over the years, my scale never reached 170 pounds from 1985 until 2010.

It took me a long time to complete all three of my goals and even though I have more pounds to lose, I feel as if I have definitely accomplished them. I love the way I look and feel, and my future is looking good!

Thank you for your support, and a teddy bear squeeze right back to you!

How sweet the sound......

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...ONETHIRRRRTEEEEEEEES! I am so envious and so happy for you, Congrats! I hope you are celebrating your immense accomplishment!

When am I taking you to lunch?

Can you believe it?

Popped back up into the 140's, but I know they are only temporary since this program works pretty well for me.

It has been awhile since I have seen you and it has been too long. I hope lunch and a get together is in our future, soon!

You seem to be in total control, so way to go Teri, to whatever weight you want!

I know how hard it is to lose one pound, to not consume French bread and those beloved tortilla chips, ... to exercise every day? Whew! I tried the diet, got a used book, back in March. I kept with it for approximately one month. I think I looked at everything you ate for three years! I know it works, I lost and I felt better, but I decided to blow it on tortilla chips, beans and rice one day and then blew it again the next day. The cravings returned, the End, I never advanced to getting out for walks or any exercise. Now, after coming back here to check on your progress, I am back on the wagon. You are inspiring, I need your determination and control!

About me

I'm Teri and I am 54 years old. I have been fighting my weight since I was fourteen, dieting my way all the way up to 236 lbs. I started my weight loss program on March 3, 2008, and at that time I was unable to get into the largest pair of jeans I owned, size 18W. I have lost close to 100 pounds, and I now wear a size 4 jeans. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I could have ever imagined and I did it without starving or depriving myself in any way.

I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day.
