My Day
I woke up around 8 a.m., and shared my dad's pot of coffee with him. I was able to drink my two cups and then began my exercises so they would get done.

I packed my bags so I would be ready to leave as soon as my husband called me. I only had an hour to travel but my husband had a two hour trip ahead of him. I had to make a stop at Walmart and since there are so many more people in the Bay Area than there are where I live, I needed the extra hour to do some shopping and check out.

My husband and I met at a designated spot and then he followed me to the race track. When we arrived, my husbands' business partner told us where to park the RV, so I parked my car right behind it. We did not have any hook-ups, so we fired up the generator and made dinner. We were going to go out to eat but we didn't know how difficult it would be to get back inside the track. My husband brought the BBQ and briquets, so he barbecued us a couple of steaks. We used paper plates so the only dishes that needed to be done were silverware. I didn't bother to do the dishes since I wanted to reserve the water for the showers we would be taking the following day.

I was exhausted since I didn't sleep very well the night before so about 9:30 p.m., I went to bed. The guys turned the generator off around 10:00 p.m., and it was quiet for the rest of the night.
