My Day
I woke up at 7 a.m., to the cell phone alarm. We were at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma for the Buell Track Day. My husband and his business partner were scheduled to ride the track all day and had their first meeting scheduled for 8:15 a.m.

Since I knew I had plenty of time before they were going to begin their ride, it was such a beautiful day that I headed outside. I put my exercise DVD into my computer, set it on the step of the RV and completed all 3 miles of WATP before I showered for the day.

The RV was parked in the media parking lot which was on top of the hill overlooking the track. Instead of driving the car back and forth, I decided to move it down to the parking lot so we would have easy access to it. Since my car was still sitting on top of the hill, I took the walk to get my car and brought it down too.

The demo rides began at 9 a.m., and my husband and his business partner rode the Buell demo bikes for twenty minutes every hour until noon, when the track was closed for lunch. Buell supplied our lunch and since they served salad and chicken breasts, I was able to eat with everyone.

My husband, his business partner, and a photographer friend were all representing Roadcarvin Magazine. On our way to lunch, our photographer friend mentioned that he noticed I had dropped a few pounds and that I look really good. I just love hearing that because I am not losing weight as fast as I would like even though I am fitting into much smaller clothes than I should be wearing at my present weight.

The rides restarted at 1 p.m., so I joined our photographer friend to his spot on one of the turns to watch the boys and girls that were riding. It was very interesting being that close to the track but one man took a spill right where we were standing. The man said he was alright but he was a bit wobbly and took a ride in the ambulance.

The rest of the day went well with the guys having a great time. We chose to hang around the RV and look at the pictures because we were waiting for the traffic to lighten up before we all left. My husband and I left around 6:30 p.m., and headed to an RV park that was about 20 minutes away.

I called the RV park to make sure there would be a place for us and they said that there were a couple of spots available and for us to take anyone we liked. When we arrived, we drove around the park until we found a place that we were satisfied with and hooked up to the electricity and water. Since neither one of us felt like going out to find something to eat, we made our dinner and relaxed for the evening.
