CM: 2 cups of black coffee

CM: Pork chop and cucumber slices/Motrin

CM: 1 slice of bacon/Motrin

RM: Salad w/avocado, bacon bits, colby cheese, sauteed shrimp & ranch, and a Haagen Dasz chocolate ice cream bar

My Day
My day began at 8:00 a.m., since I was unable to sleep very well the night before. I made my coffee and needed to sit down since my leg was still hurting. Once the coffee was ready I poured me a cup and sat down again.

I continued to elevate my leg and made sure I put a hot compress on it at least four different times. I was at home by myself and had to take care of my own needs. When I made my lunch, I was still experiencing pain in my leg so I grabbed my food when it was ready and went back to my elevated position. I know that the reason my leg continues to hurt is because of the swelling so I made sure I was able to take the Motrin every time I was supposed to.

When my husband came home from work, he asked me what I wanted for dinner. Since I really wanted an ice cream, I chose to eat a shrimp salad so I could. I buy hearts of romaine lettuce and make sure I clean it really well before I cut it up. In order to make my salad, I have to stand and that is when my leg hurts the worst. I noticed I was still getting shooting pains down my leg so I sat down as soon as my salad was ready. As soon as I was finished, I grabbed me an ice cream and didn't leave the chair again until it was time to go to bed.

I was so tired from not sleeping the last two nights, that I wrapped my leg and went to bed by 8:30 p.m.
