I was up early again since construction was scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. The primer and painting were going to be getting done and I had another drywall guy coming to fix a few things the plumber had to remove in order to replace the pipes. I was hoping the drywall guy would have been done so all the painting could have been done at the same time, but that did not happen.

I had my cardio workout scheduled for the day so I needed to get it started before I could make myself lunch. I was able to get my workout done and as soon as I was finished, I was nice and sweaty and went straight to my water bottle because I was thirsty.

My husband was working from home so I decided to have my RM for lunch again. I asked him to warm up the last of the pizza for us and I made myself a salad. I began with a plate full of salad, poured some vinaigrette dressing over it and peeled a cucumber to place on top. I started with my salad and as soon as it was finished, I began eating the pizza. My husband left two pieces of pizza even though I didn't expect to be able to finish the second piece. I ended up eating a piece and a half and threw away the rest since I was satisfied and didn't need anymore.

I knew dinner would be easy since it is not hard for me to find a piece of meat I would like to eat and add a vegetable. I was going to make some more pork chops for me again but my husband volunteered to bbq us some rib steaks. I was hungry again when it came time for dinner and my husband and I shared a can of green beans and a steak. When I finished with what was on my plate I wanted more so I cut into another one. I could have eaten more but I didn't want to have to open another can of green beans, so I stopped. I am still working on balancing my meals and even when I have my hungry days, I follow the guidelines of my program so I don't overeat any part of my meal.

About me

I'm Teri and I am 54 years old. I have been fighting my weight since I was fourteen, dieting my way all the way up to 236 lbs. I started my weight loss program on March 3, 2008, and at that time I was unable to get into the largest pair of jeans I owned, size 18W. I have lost close to 100 pounds, and I now wear a size 4 jeans. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I could have ever imagined and I did it without starving or depriving myself in any way.

I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day.
