My back was still sore when I woke up so I took it easy. I did not take any pain medication but I did use an ice pack.

I was in the mood for a salad for lunch so I got out all the goodies that I like to put on it and made myself one. It tasted just like I expected it to taste and when I finished, I was satisfied. I was able to finish the whole thing and it still amazes me how some days I am hungrier than others.

My husband started the bbq so he could make us some rib steaks for dinner. I made myself a simple salad of romaine and cucumber and added some vinaigrette dressing to it. He placed two steaks on the bbq and when they were ready we shared one of them. My husband does not eat very much steak so I have no problem sharing one with him. I made myself a small bowl of ice cream and could have easily added more, but since balance continues to be important to me, I did not.

Bowflex was the exercise scheduled for the day so we got started after I finished the dishes. My husband decided to workout with me so we both ended up getting our workouts done. The workout did not hurt my back at all and I was actually hoping it would help to strengthen it.
