2011 - CALP Low Carb Diet Journal
I have been following The Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program for the last thirty three months now. It continues to be a great program for me because I am in complete control over the foods I eat. Chocolate is no longer its own food group in my mind and I can now eat one piece and still be satisfied.
I have made tremendous progress by gaining control over my diet and keeping up with my exercise routine. The weight is coming off slowly, but it is coming off. My body is shaping up nicely and I have muscle definition that is helping me to raise my metabolism and burn the fat.
I have been using this journal to keep my menu and exercises updated on a regular basis. Since I intend on following the program for the rest of my life, it is time to begin a brand new year.
My entries will continue to include my menu and exercises from the previous day!

About me
I'm Teri and I am 54 years old. I have been fighting my weight since I was fourteen, dieting my way all the way up to 236 lbs. I started my weight loss program on March 3, 2008, and at that time I was unable to get into the largest pair of jeans I owned, size 18W. I have lost close to 100 pounds, and I now wear a size 4 jeans. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I could have ever imagined and I did it without starving or depriving myself in any way.
I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day.

Hi
Hi Teri!
I met you and your husband at my work the other day and was so impressed with how great you look and how much you have lost. I'm the red head with spiked hair. I ordered the book and am surfing your site. It looks very promising. I'm also going to have a buddy start the diet with me so it will be a little easier. I like your website! I'll be checking in regularly.

Welcome Dixie!
I think CALP is a wonderful program and I hope you and your friend will be just as happy with it as I am. I believe that finding a diet program that can be followed for the rest of my life is the only way that I will not gain everything back.
I have already put in close to three years of following this program and I have no doubt that I can follow it for the rest of my life. I believe the key to following this way of eating is to make sure and follow the guidelines. I hope you discover that it is an easy program for you to follow and both you and your friend have no problems sticking to it!
I look forward to taking this journey with the two of you and I would appreciate it if you would keep me posted!
