After I made coffee and fed cats, I wanted to get started on my Callanetics workout right away. I knew I still had to get the Bowflex workout done, so I wanted as many hours as I could get in between the two of them.

I wanted pork chops for lunch so I had to defrost a couple of them. I salt and peppered the one that I was going to eat, and stuck the other one in the refrigerator for another time. While the pork chop was cooking, I peeled a cucumber and after slicing it up, I began eating it. When my pork chop was ready, I allowed it to cool down and then I ate it. I still love pork chops and now that I am only eating one at a time, I don't think I will ever get tired of them.

My husband usually cooks Thanksgiving and we are used to having leftovers. I really missed not being able to have them so I went to the store and bought all the fixings for us to have our own turkey meal. When I came home, I unloaded and put away the groceries before fixing my salad so I could begin eating my dinner.

We had some cod in the freezer so that is what we chose to have for dinner. We had some Louisiana coating that my husband dipped it in before deep frying it. I began my meal with a salad by cleaning some romaine lettuce and cutting it up into bite sized pieces. I grabbed six celery stalks and cleaned them before cutting them up too. I sliced the celery and after placing it on top of the lettuce, I drizzled some ranch dressing over the top. My husband also made some home fries to go with the fish so we were having his version of fish and chips. I fixed my plate with both the fish and some potatoes but I ended up leaving enough room for me to have a bite of my Hershey's w/almonds chocolate bar.

We allowed our food to rest for about a half an hour before we got started on the Bowflex workout. I really like the muscle that I am building by getting it done but sometimes it seems like it is really hard work!

About me

I'm Teri and I am 54 years old. I have been fighting my weight since I was fourteen, dieting my way all the way up to 236 lbs. I started my weight loss program on March 3, 2008, and at that time I was unable to get into the largest pair of jeans I owned, size 18W. I have lost close to 100 pounds, and I now wear a size 4 jeans. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I could have ever imagined and I did it without starving or depriving myself in any way.

I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day.
